Strategic Consulting

Nuna Gleason standing up for what’s right — speaking out on reproductive justice and survivor rights.

I work with organizations, coalitions, schools, and funders to design and strengthen programs, services, and systems that are culturally relevant, survivor-centered, and community-driven.

As an African immigrant, a survivor, and a practitioner with cross-sector experience, I bring both lived insight and strategic tools to help your work reflect the realities of the communities you aim to serve — especially those navigating trauma, migration, and systemic exclusion.

Whether you’re starting a new initiative, assessing existing gaps, or seeking a deeper connection to the people behind the data, my approach is honest, collaborative, and grounded in cultural humility..

Our session will be

  • Personalized

We begin by assessing where you are — identifying your strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth. From there, we co-create a strategic plan that aligns with your mission, context, and vision for impact.

  • Targeted

Each session is designed to address your most pressing priorities. Whether it’s enhancing team culture, strengthening community trust, or improving service delivery, we work with intention and measurable goals.

  • Integrative

This work goes beyond checklists. We’ll bring together practical tools, strategic thinking, and holistic practices — including movement, mindfulness, and trauma-informed frameworks — to support sustainable change and grounded leadership.

Some of our work includes

  • Program Design & Evaluation- Support in designing new programs or strengthening existing ones, with a focus on cultural alignment, community ownership, and outcomes that reflect lived realities.

  • Organizational Strategy-Guidance in aligning mission, programs, and operations with values of equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care — including support with strategic plans, theory of change, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Advising on Gender-Based Violence, Survivor Leadership, and Intersectional Healing- Tailored consultation for organizations working in anti-violence, reproductive justice, maternal health, and other care-based fields seeking to center survivor leadership and cross-cultural understanding.

  • Community Engagement Strategy-Support in building authentic partnerships with immigrant, survivor, and BIPOC communities — including trusted outreach approaches, listening sessions, and feedback loops that honor the expertise of those most impacted.

  • Capacity Building for Frontline Teams- Consultation and coaching for staff and leadership teams working with diverse communities, survivors, or those facing systemic harm — including burnout prevention, trauma-informed supervision, and reflection-based planning.

  • Policy & Practice Review-Review and revision of internal policies, outreach strategies, or service delivery models to ensure they are inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive.

‘‘I walked away not just with tools, but with a whole new perspective on our work. I feel more confident naming what’s not working — and more hopeful about what we can build.’’
