Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nuna Cultural Consulting?

Nuna Cultural Consulting is a values-driven practice that supports individuals, companies, and organizations in building culturally responsive programs, services, and systems. We offer strategic guidance to help you recognize and close cultural gaps — with a focus on equity, inclusion, and deep community connection.

Where are you based? Do you work virtually?
I’m based in Maine and available for both in-person and virtual work. I also partner with organizations across the U.S. and in East Africa.

What topics do you speak or consult on?
My focus areas include survivor-informed program design, African immigrant wellness, cultural humility in care systems, trauma healing through movement, and justice-rooted leadership.

Do you offer one-time talks or long-term support?
Both. I offer one-time speaking engagements, workshops, and also multi-session consulting for longer projects or program redesigns.

How much do your services cost?
Rates vary by service and project scope. I offer a free 30-minute discovery call to learn more about your needs before creating a custom quote.

What is a cultural doula?
A cultural doula supports birthing people through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with deep attention to their cultural values, spiritual needs, and systemic challenges — especially for African and immigrant families.

Do you offer doula services right now?
I currently provide doula care and postpartum support on a limited basis, depending on availability. Please reach out to discuss your needs.
